Does it usually contain a raw egg? Love the recipe, can’t wait to try it!

the Orange Julius at our mall, never had egg, unless it was one of those powders they added. And they didn’t advertise that egg was in it, and that’s a no-no….Of course the ‘original’ Orange Julius may be different from the ‘kiosk chain’…..?

I grew up on Orange Julius! I was so upset after we moved and found out no one had ever even heard of them! The closest thing I’ve tasted in a long time is the orange smoothie mixes that I used to find at Wal Mart…. I will definitely be giving this a try! THANKS!

Just made this today and Loved it! Its just like I remember it. Even my picky son liked it! I doubled the recipe because yours said serves two. A large glass may be too much per person, so I’d say ur recipe easily makes 4 servings. Thanks again.

The egg was an optional add on, and you had to pay more. I drank these when I was a kid every time I went to the mall!!

Tried these today with the kids. Accidentally used the whole 12 oz can of oj. A tad bit too orangy for the kids. Would need a bigger blender to double everything. If I read the oj container, I think they would have liked it more. I will have to pay more attention next time.

Just curious what to do with the remainder of the jello pudding mix? Do you have any other recipes that call for a portion of it?

I have this same recipe but mine calls for icing sugar instead of granulated. Ive tried both and they pretty much taste the same but I found that the icing sugar version blends better. Just thought I would share that tip!
